![]() We are currently testing our new total electronica mobile stream which is running at 32Kbps AAC + As it is using the AAC + codec, the stream is comparable in quality to most FM radio stations, but because of it’s much lower bit rate will happily stream on all 3G, 2G GPRS and EDGE Mobile networks. Early reports show that the stream works very well in cities and suburbs. If you want to use this stream, Please click HERE or search for total electronica mobile on your device. Please leave a comment in our Shout box on how you get on. Tune in to total electronica mobile HERE

Total Electronica Radio is now available on your mobile phone. :) You can now receive streaming audio via a web-enabled phone installed with a media player and subscription to a mobile phone provider’s data service. If you do not have an unlimited mobile surfing package, data streaming is likely to be prohibitively expensive. However, our mobile service streams at 20Kbps AAC+ which will account for about 1.5mb per hour of listening. (Note: some mobile price plans come with unlimited Internet browsing for around £5 extra per month, but please read the small print and check the fair usage policy.)Our standard 128Kbps stream will work fine in 3G areas. However, 3G coverage is very patchy in the UK and the cost will be a lot more expensive at around 55mb per hour of listening. With this in mind we do not recommend using the main stream for mobile listening. There are various ways of connecting your mobile phone to a car stereo, some car stereos have aux in outputs, if not small FM car transmitters are readily available. Here is an example of a more expensive unit called the Venturi Mini:
For Google Android phones you can get DroidLive from your apps marketplace - the lite version is free and seems to work well. with our 128Kbps and 20Kbps aac+ streams.
